Eman Košpo transfers from Fiorentina to Mantova

Eman Košpo, a 19-year-old center-back and Bosnia and Herzegovina international, is transferring from Fiorentina to Mantova. The deal is reported to be a permanent transfer valued at approximately €1.5 million.

Despite having a contract with the Florence-based club until June 2030, Košpo sought more regular playing time after spending a year without senior opportunities at Fiorentina. Mantova reportedly won the race for his signature against interest from other clubs, including AS Roma, Empoli, and Sassuolo.

Košpo, who previously spent time in the youth academies of Barcelona and Zurich, is expected to sign a multi-year contract with the Serie B side. He is noted for his ability to play out from the back and his high assist rates for a defender.
