Emanuel Lo discusses panic attacks and career impact

Roman choreographer and dancer Emanuel Lo has shared details regarding a traumatic experience that significantly altered his professional trajectory. During an interview on the program Verissimo, Lo described experiencing an intense panic attack while on a flight during his time living in London.

Lo characterized the experience as “a little death,” noting that the psychological impact made international travel nearly impossible. To manage this fear, he requested that his agency assign him work exclusively within Italy, a decision that forced him to decline numerous international dance opportunities and tours.

In addition to discussing his career, Lo spoke about his personal life, describing his partner, the singer Giorgia, and their son, Samuel, as his family.
