La Torre and Famà win the 2026 Taormina Rally

Emanuele La Torre and Fausto Famà secured a home victory at the 16th edition of the Taormina Rally. Driving a Skoda Fabia RS for Team Automobilistico Phoenix, the duo dominated the competition by winning six of the eight scheduled special stages.

The podium was completed by fellow Skoda drivers Marcello Rizzo and Maurizio Messina in second place, followed by Alessandro Casella and Sergio Scuderi in third. The event, organized by the New Turbomark Rally Team, saw significant participation with 118 crews competing across various categories.

In the historic car category, Antonio Di Lorenzo and Franco Cardella achieved the best time driving a Porsche 911. The regularity competition saw Francesco and Giovanni Previti leading on a Fiat 903 Berlina. Taormina Mayor Cateno De Luca praised the event for its sporting value and its role in promoting the local territory.
