EMASS and Bosch Sensortec Launch Low‑Power Edge AI Asset‑Tracking Design

EMASS announced a partnership with Bosch Sensortec to create an intelligent asset‑tracking reference design that combines ultra‑low‑power Edge AI with a suite of multimodal sensors. The platform, built around EMASS’s ECS‑DoT Edge AI SoC, processes data locally and transmits only meaningful events, extending battery life to the level of a coin‑cell while providing location, motion, environmental and condition monitoring for cold‑chain shipments, industrial equipment and high‑value electronics.

In a separate collaboration, Avnet and Weston Robot introduced a physical‑AI inspection platform powered by AMD Ryzen™ AI Embedded processors. The autonomous robot integrates edge AI, intelligent perception and navigation to conduct continuous inspections in complex industrial settings, detecting anomalies, PPE compliance, unauthorized intrusions and equipment faults. By processing data at the edge, the system aims to improve safety, reduce inspection costs and enhance operational resilience across manufacturing, energy, utilities and logistics facilities.
