Embarcadero releases RAD Studio 13.2 with enhanced AI and build speeds

Embarcadero Technologies has released RAD Studio 13.2 Florence, alongside updates to Delphi and C++Builder. The new version introduces parallel code generation for Linux Intel 64-bit and Windows Arm64EC, which has demonstrated build speed improvements of up to 14 times in internal testing. Additionally, LLVM code optimization has increased execution speeds by up to seven times in certain tests.

A major focus of the update is AI integration. The new SmartCore AI components allow developers to connect to various AI providers, including OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, and Ollama, without requiring individual implementations for each. The release also includes Kai 1.1, an AI companion that supports multiple providers such as Grok, DeepSeek, Mistral, and Claude, allowing users to swap between cloud-based models and local models hosted via LM Studio or Ollama.

Other technical enhancements include the MCPConnect library for building Model Context Protocol servers, an integrated Navigator plugin for easier navigation of large codebases, and improved support for Windows on Arm. The update also features expanded VCL and FireMonkey library components, including Skia4Delphi 7.3 for improved HighDPI support and Windows animations.
