Embrace of Souls releases new live video for ‘The Plague’

Italian epic/power metal band Embrace of Souls has released a new official live video for the track ‘The Plague’. The song is featured on their latest concept album, ‘The Battle of the Dead’, which was released on May 22, 2026, via Rockshots Records.

The album follows a fantasy narrative set in a medieval world where a mysterious plague affects souls, leading to conflict between the living and the dead. The band’s sound is characterized by a mix of 1980s and 1990s heavy metal with early 2000s symphonic metal, utilizing the vocal contrast between Giacomo Rossi and operatic vocalist Martina Mazzeo.

Captured during a live performance and edited by Simone ‘Morksar’ D’Addazio, the video highlights the band’s energetic stage presence. The album was mixed and mastered by Alessio Garavello at Rogue Studios in London.
