Embraer and SPX Capital merge cybersecurity businesses

Embraer and SPX Capital have announced the merger of their respective cybersecurity businesses to create a new entity. The company, which has not yet been named, will be formed by combining Embraer’s Tempest Security Intelligence with SPX Capital’s Vision Cybersecurity.

The new company will start with an annual revenue of R$ 700 million, employing 900 people and serving 600 clients. The transaction is structured as a stock swap and does not involve a direct cash payment. André Fleury, the current CEO of Vision Cybersecurity, will lead the new organization.

The merger aims to consolidate the company’s presence in the Brazilian market before expanding into Latin America and North America. The combined entity will offer services including vulnerability analysis for software and platforms, Security Operations Centers (SOC), and preemptive threat monitoring to identify and neutralize digital threats.
