Embraer delivers 2,000th E-Jet aircraft to Azul

Embraer has reached a major milestone with the delivery of its 2,000th aircraft from the E-Jet family. The commemorative 2,000th aircraft, an E195-E2, was delivered to the Brazilian carrier Azul Brazilian Airlines.

For Azul, this delivery marks the 50th E2 series aircraft in its fleet. The airline has maintained a long-standing partnership with Embraer, having used E-Jet models since its inaugural flight in 2008.

Since entering commercial service in 2004, the E-Jet family has been operated by over 90 airlines across more than 60 countries. The program has accumulated approximately 48 million flight hours and transported more than 2.85 billion passengers. This success has allowed Embraer to expand from the regional market into a strong position within the global small narrow-body aircraft market.
