Embraer delivers 2,000th E-Jet to Azul Linhas Aéreas

Embraer has reached a major milestone with the delivery of its 2,000th E-Jet aircraft. The milestone aircraft, an E195-E2, was delivered to the Brazilian airline Azul Linhas Aéreas.

Since entering service in 2004, the E-Jet family has become one of the three largest commercial jet families in the world. The fleet has accumulated approximately 48 million flight hours and has transported more than 2.85 billion passengers across more than 60 countries and 90 airlines.

Azul Linhas Aéreas has been a strategic partner for Embraer, operating more than 140 E-Jets since 2008. The airline was also the launch customer for the E195-E2, receiving its first unit in 2019.
