Embraer secures additional order for eight E190-E2 jets from ANA Holdings
Embraer and ANA Holdings have entered into an agreement for the purchase of eight additional E190-E2 aircraft. This new deal brings the total number of firm orders for this specific model from the Japanese group to 23.
In addition to the 23 firm orders, ANA Holdings maintains five purchase options for the E190-E2. This expansion follows a previous decision announced in July to grow the fleet and builds upon an initial 2025 contract for 15 aircraft. The first delivery under this latest agreement is scheduled for 2028.
Koji Shibata, CEO of ANA Holdings, stated that the order is intended to accelerate efforts to build a sustainable regional aviation network in Japan. Arjan Meijer, CEO of Embraer Commercial Aviation, noted that the aircraft's fuel efficiency and economic performance will support expanded connectivity across the country.
