Collegiate golf: Flagler wins Jay Jennison Cup; Huntingdon leads NCAA Fall Preview

Several collegiate men's golf tournaments concluded recently, featuring performances from various NCAA Division III programs.

At the Jay Jennison Cup hosted by Flagler at the Slammer & Squire course, Flagler claimed victory with a total score of 836 (-28). Tristan Wieland of Lynn and Matthew French of Flagler shared medalist honors with a 204 (-12). Other notable team performances included Rollins College finishing fifth and Lenoir-Rhyne tying for sixth. Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University also competed, sitting tied for third through 36 holes during the event.

In the NCAA Division III Fall Preview held in Williamsburg, Virginia, Huntingdon took first place with an 834 (-18), followed by Kenyon in second at 836 (-16). Emory University finished third with a total of 838, led by freshman Jeffrey Rubenstein. Trinity University secured a tie for 12th place with a total score of +24.
