Embu das Artes approves 4.22% salary increase for municipal employees

The City Hall of Embu das Artes has granted a 4.22% salary increase to municipal employees for 2026. This measure, approved via Complementary Law No. 588/2026, aims to preserve the purchasing power of public workers.

This adjustment follows a 5.13% increase granted in 2025 and previous salary recompositions in 2022 and 2023. The administration stated that these measures are being implemented with fiscal responsibility to ensure public services in areas such as health, education, and security remain unaffected.
