Embutidos Entrepeñas wins Supreme Champion at Great Taste Awards 2026

Embutidos Entrepeñas, a family-owned company based in Geras de Gordón, Spain, has achieved a major international culinary milestone at the Great Taste Awards 2026 in London. Their Wagyu Cecina was named the Supreme Champion, the highest honor of the competition organized by the Guild of Fine Food.

In addition to the Supreme Champion title, the product also secured the Golden Fork for Spain. The Wagyu Cecina was selected after being evaluated by over 800 experts, standing out among more than 15,000 products from over 3,900 companies representing 116 countries. The award recognizes the company's ability to combine traditional curing methods—including salting, natural oak and holm oak smoking, and mountain curing—with the specific characteristics of Wagyu beef.

Other Spanish participants in the awards included Ferju and Anchoas Hazas, with the latter receiving the Golden Fork for Better Business.
