Brazil announces widespread public service exams and job opportunities

Various municipalities and state agencies across Brazil are launching recruitment drives and employment initiatives.

In Pernambuco, coordinating commissions have been formed for several public exams covering security, health, and education, with over 4,600 vacancies anticipated. In Bahia, the Military Police and Fire Department are accepting applications for 40 health officer positions, including doctors and dentists, with salaries reaching up to R$ 9,973.34. Rondônia is also advancing preparations for a state health service exam organized by Idecan.

Local employment opportunities are being facilitated through several channels. São José dos Pinhais held an employment fair offering 2,100 vacancies, while Canoas hosted a career caravan with over 650 openings. In Jaraguá do Sul, the Sine office reported 1,571 active vacancies, primarily in the industrial sector. Additionally, AgSUS has opened a selection process for indigenous health professionals in Maranhão, offering salaries between R$ 2,200 and R$ 12,903.

Other municipal recruitment efforts include Petrolina de Goiás, which announced 100 immediate vacancies, and Jaú, which is offering 10 positions in health and social assistance. Xanxerê is conducting a simplified selection process for teachers, and Ubatuba has released exam locations for its urban development company's public contest.
