EMEB Júlio Corrêa hosts kite festival for local families

EMEB Júlio Corrêa hosted a kite festival that brought together more than 100 families for a day of outdoor leisure and community integration. The event, titled ‘Together in the sky and united in the school’, aimed to foster teamwork and healthy social interaction outside the classroom.

School director Rosilene Barros da Silva noted that the activity encouraged children's imagination through the creation of various kite models and provided a rare opportunity for parents and children to engage in a traditional activity together. Maria Fernanda Figueiredo, Secretary of Education, Culture, Sport, and Leisure, stated that the festival supports the school's commitment to emotional well-being and active community participation in education.
