EMEDÉ Valladolid Triathlon Launches First Edition Aug 22, 2026
The inaugural EMEDÉ Valladolid Triathlon will take place on Saturday, 22 August 2026 in Valladolid, Spain. The race follows a medium‑distance format with a 1,900‑metre swim in the Pisuerga River (about 1,700 m with current), a 90‑kilometre bike loop featuring roughly 300 m of elevation gain, and a 21‑kilometre run over three laps that finishes in the historic Plaza Mayor.
Registration is limited to 450 participants and will close on 16 August. Entry fees range from €183 for Castilla y León federation members to €198 for non‑members. The event is eligible for points in the Federación Española de Triatlón’s National Medium and Long‑Distance Ranking. Notable athletes on the start list include Roger Manyá, Nacho Villarruel, Pello Osoro, Julen Díez and Carlos Oliver. Organisers have partnered with the Valladolid Hotel Association to offer a 10 % discount at 29 local hotels for participants and their guests.
