Emerald Fennell’s Wuthering Heights arrives on Prime Video

Emerald Fennell has released a new film adaptation of Emily Brontë’s classic novel, ‘Wuthering Heights’, starring Margot Robbie as Catherine Earnshaw and Jacob Elordi as Heathcliff. The film explores the turbulent and destructive relationship between the two central characters set against the Yorkshire moors.

Fennell’s interpretation is described as a visceral, primal, and intense take on the gothic classic, leaning into themes of obsession and brutality rather than a traditional literary adaptation. The production aims to capture the emotional and sexual intensity of the original text through a contemporary lens.

The film is available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
