Emerald Kaia luxury yacht arrives in Itea, Greece

The luxury yacht Emerald Kaia has arrived in the waters of Itea, Greece, highlighting the country's potential as a premier destination for international yachting and maritime tourism. The vessel, owned by Emerald Cruises (a member of the Australian-based Scenic Group founded by Glen Moroney), is approximately 120 meters long and can accommodate up to 128 passengers with a crew of 92 people.

Built at Ha Long Shipbuilding in Vietnam, the yacht represents a significant economic opportunity for Greek ports, hospitality, and transport sectors. Captain Giorgos Vallis, President of the Hellenic Association of Yachting Professionals, noted that such arrivals showcase Greece's natural and cultural advantages, emphasizing the need for modern infrastructure and high-quality services to remain a central hub for the global yachting industry.
