Emergency incidents reported in Jesolo and Valle Vigezzo

Two separate emergency incidents have been reported in Italy. In Jesolo, 65-year-old Mirella Scardecchia, a resident of Mestre, died after suffering a sudden medical emergency while walking along the shoreline. Lifeguards from Jesolo Turismo Spa discovered her in approximately half a meter of water near the shore. Despite prolonged cardiopulmonary resuscitation efforts by emergency responders, she was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities and the Coast Guard are investigating the circumstances, though preliminary findings suggest a sudden illness.

In Valle Vigezzo, search operations are underway for a 66-year-old mushroom hunter from Busto Arsizio who went missing in the Alpe Campra area near Druogno. The man was last seen in the mountainous forest region at an altitude of approximately 1,300 meters. Rescue teams, including the Valdossola Alpine Rescue, the Guardia di Finanza Alpine Rescue, and firefighters, have been conducting searches through the night to locate him.
