Emergency incidents reported in Zapopan and San Miguel Petapa

Emergency services responded to two separate incidents in Mexico and Guatemala. In Zapopan, Mexico, a 46-year-old man was found deceased inside a water tank at a private residence located at the intersection of Cuauhtémoc and Libertad streets. While the body showed no immediate visible signs of violence, medical personnel were unable to determine a cause of death at the scene. Forensic authorities have taken charge of the investigation and will conduct an autopsy to clarify the circumstances.

In San Miguel Petapa, Guatemala, a structural fire broke out in zone 8, affecting five homes in the Nueva Esperanza and Granjas Gerona sectors. The fire, which consumed wooden and sheet metal structures, resulted in one person being treated for burns and transported to the Villa Nueva National Hospital. Firefighters utilized high-pressure hoses to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading further. The cause of the fire remains unknown.
