Emergency medical incidents reported in Mexico and Argentina

In Chihuahua, Mexico, municipal police and paramedics successfully intervened to save a 33-year-old man following a suspected heroin overdose at a Soriana supermarket on Tecnológico Avenue. The man suffered cardiac arrest in the store's restroom, prompting employees to call emergency services. After receiving resuscitation and prehospital care, the man was stabilized and regained consciousness, though he ultimately refused transport to a hospital for further medical evaluation.

In Berisso, Argentina, a municipal worker identified as Eduardo Gabriel Negrete died after suffering a sudden medical collapse while waiting for public transportation. The incident occurred near the Santa Teresita neighborhood after Negrete finished his shift at the local Industrial Park. Despite emergency responders performing CPR, the man passed away at the scene. Witnesses raised concerns regarding the functionality of an automated external defibrillator (AED) that reportedly failed to respond correctly during the attempt to revive him.
