Emergency rescues reported in Mexico following floods and accidents

In Mexico, a truck operator named Gerardo Cobos Sáenz rescued a family of nine from a flash flood at the Víboras stream. The family, which included four adults and five minors—among them two babies—had been traveling from El Paso when their vehicle became trapped by rising currents. Sáenz used his heavy truck to maneuver through the water and reach the vehicle, which had been pushed against a barrier by the current.

In a separate incident, emergency responders and volunteers rescued two injured individuals in Landa de Matamoros after their vehicle plunged into a 100-meter deep ravine. The accident occurred on the road connecting Tres Lagunas with the Pinalito de la Cruz junction. One victim was transported to a general hospital by volunteer firefighters, while the second was taken to receive medical attention in a private vehicle.
