Emergency response drills conducted in Melilla and l’Alfàs del Pi

Various emergency response exercises have been conducted in Spain to test coordination and evacuation protocols.

In Melilla, the VIII Multirisk Emergency Drill concluded after three days of training. The exercises included high-altitude rescues in the Nano River ravine and simulations of vehicle accidents in the Mezquita stream. These drills, conducted under the National Civil Protection System guidelines, aim to integrate the capabilities of emergency services and security forces to ensure a unified response to major catastrophes.

In l’Alfàs del Pi, the local government organized an emergency drill at the Pau Gasol Pavilion. This exercise is part of a progressive program to test municipal staff readiness and evacuation effectiveness across various public buildings. The initiative follows the city's Emergency Action Plan, which mandates annual drills to ensure worker and citizen safety.
