Emergency services rescue children trapped in hot cars

Emergency services in the Czech Republic and Slovakia successfully rescued young children trapped in locked vehicles during high temperatures on Sunday afternoon.

In Trutnov, Czech Republic, firefighters responded to a call regarding a two-year-old child locked inside a car after the driver accidentally locked the keys inside. Despite temperatures reaching approximately 30 degrees Celsius, firefighters managed to retrieve the keys and free the child without damaging the vehicle or causing injury.

In Levoča, Slovakia, a three-year-old child was found unresponsive inside a car in a parking lot after parents left the vehicle briefly to shop. Police, firefighters, and paramedics responded to the scene. Authorities located the parents quickly, and the child was removed from the vehicle unharmed. Police have issued warnings to parents regarding the life-threatening risks of leaving children in vehicles during warm weather.
