Emergency services respond to multiple fires and rescues in Argentina and Spain
Emergency services in Argentina and Spain responded to multiple incidents over the weekend. In Argentina, volunteer firefighters addressed two separate emergencies on Sunday, August 30. The first involved a truck fire near the La Buena Moza bridge, which completely destroyed the tractor unit and began spreading to the bridge shoulder. Shortly after, crews were deployed to combat a forest fire in the Callejon Artiga area.
In Spain, firefighters in Tenerife responded to several incidents across various municipalities, including La Laguna, Adeje, Tegueste, Arona, and Arico. Notable events included a house fire in La Laguna that originated in a garage, which was extinguished in the early hours of Monday. Additionally, emergency personnel assisted in resuscitation efforts for an individual in a difficult-to-access area of Tegueste, though the person ultimately passed away at the scene.
