Emergency services respond to multiple incidents in Krško region

Emergency responders in the Krško region, Slovenia, handled several distinct incidents on Saturday, October 31, 2026. A speedway rider was injured during training on a speedway track in Krško and was transported to the Brežice Urgent Center by emergency medical services.

In the Kalce-Naklo settlement, firefighters performed a technical rescue to enter a residential building to reach an unresponsive person. Additionally, a fire occurred in Spodnja Libna when wooden cladding around a chimney ignited in a residential property. Firefighters from PGE Krško and PGD Dolenja vas extinguished the flames and addressed damage to floor and wall coverings.

The Regional Center for Information Brežice reported a total of 20 emergency medical calls within a twelve-hour period.
