Emergency services respond to various incidents in Tenerife and Arrecife

Emergency responders in Tenerife and Arrecife addressed several incidents involving fires and accidents. In La Laguna, Tenerife, firefighters extinguished a fire in a single-story garage attached to a house in Las Mercedes during the early hours of the morning. No people or vehicles were inside the structure at the time.

Other incidents in Tenerife included a traffic accident on the TF-5 highway in Los Realejos involving two vehicles, and a head-on collision on the TF-47 in Santiago del Teide. Additionally, emergency teams in Buenavista del Norte performed a manual rescue of a hiker who had fallen after aerial rescue was deemed impossible.

In Arrecife, firefighters responded to two separate smoke-related calls. The first involved a laundry business where smoke was caused by a towel trapped in a washing machine's electrical compartment. The second occurred in a residence where a pan left on a gas stove caused significant smoke accumulation, requiring the home to be ventilated.
