Emergency services strengthen response efforts in Nicaragua and Argentina

In Nicaragua, the Bomberos Unidos institution is working to strengthen its emergency response capabilities. The organization is focusing on improving its ability to handle structural and forest fires, traffic accidents, rescues, and gas leaks. Efforts include enhancing human resources, equipment, and response mechanisms to provide efficient assistance across various municipalities, particularly during rainy seasons when risks of flooding and landslides increase.

In Argentina, the Bomberos Voluntarios de Real del Padre are seeking community assistance to repair a donated Mercedes Benz LT truck. The vehicle, received in July, is intended to serve as the station's Mobile 03, marking the first time the institution will have a fire truck rather than relying solely on pickup trucks. The volunteers have launched a solidarity campaign, asking for small donations to cover the cost of essential cylinder head repairs needed to make the vehicle operational.
