Emerson introduces new liquid analysis and water quality measurement systems
Emerson has introduced new solutions for liquid analysis aimed at simplifying water quality monitoring and industrial process management. The company unveiled the Rosemount 105P, a preconfigured panel system designed to reduce the effort required for planning, installation, and commissioning. This standardized architecture integrates transmitters, sensors, and flow control components to measure parameters such as pH, oxidation-reduction potential, dissolved oxygen, and chlorine content.
Additionally, Emerson launched the Rosemount 350A, a digital pH/ORP sensor engineered for harsh environments involving high temperatures and high pressure. Unlike traditional analog sensors that are susceptible to signal noise and complex wiring, the Rosemount 350A converts measurements into digital signals directly within the sensor. Utilizing a Modbus interface with M12 connectors, the device supports plug-and-play connectivity. The sensor also features internal diagnostic memory to store calibration data, facilitating predictive maintenance and allowing for off-site calibration.
