Emerson Palmieri addresses OM transfer rumors and team performance

Olympique de Marseille defender Emerson Palmieri has addressed recent rumors regarding a potential transfer to his former club, Santos. The Italian international clarified that while Santos expressed interest and discussions took place between the clubs, he never requested a departure from Marseille. He stated that his decision to stay was based on the club's desire to keep him, noting, “If they say they want to keep me, I stay, basta.”

Emerson also commented on the team's recent form, acknowledging mental lapses during matches but dismissing claims of physical deficiencies. He noted that while the team maintains high possession, they must improve their ability to anticipate counter-attacks and maintain focus for the full 90 minutes to avoid conceding goals during critical moments.
