Emerson secures 13-year measurement deal with Equinor

Emerson has entered into a 13-year strategic frame agreement with Equinor to provide measurement instrumentation and lifecycle services for the energy company’s global onshore and offshore operations. The agreement, which includes options, aims to support Equinor’s objective of maintaining Norwegian Continental Shelf production levels through 2035.

Under the terms of the deal, Emerson will supply its portfolio of measurement and analytical technologies to help accelerate field development, extend field life, improve recovery rates, and standardize operations across Equinor’s assets. The collaboration builds upon a supplier relationship between the two companies that has spanned more than 40 years. While the specific financial value of the agreement was not disclosed, the structure serves as a long-term procurement framework for equipment and services as fields are developed or upgraded.
