Emha launches R$ 4,000 housing subsidies in Campo Grande

The Municipal Housing and Land Affairs Agency (Emha) has opened applications for the ‘Bônus Sonho de Morar’ program in Campo Grande. The initiative offers 400 subsidies of R$ 4,000 each to assist families with the down payment for their first home.

To qualify, applicants must have a gross monthly income between one and five minimum wages and must be registered in the Emha general database. Eligible properties must be part of the ViraCG Habitação program and have a maximum market value of R$ 250,000. The subsidy can be combined with federal or state housing benefits, such as ‘Minha Casa, Minha Vida’, provided they are compatible with current legislation.

Applications are being accepted at the Emha headquarters until November 30, 2026. Beneficiaries must not already own property or have previously received public social housing benefits. Once a mortgage is contracted and registered, the subsidy process must be formalized with Emha by February 15, 2027.
