Emil Audero joins Rayo Vallecano on loan from Como 1907

Rayo Vallecano has signed goalkeeper Emil Audero on loan from Como 1907 during the final days of the summer 2026 transfer window. The 29-year-old Italian-Indonesian international joins the Spanish LaLiga side to provide depth following a serious injury to primary goalkeeper Augusto Batalla, who suffered a broken tibia.

Audero, who developed through the Juventus academy and has played for clubs including Venezia, Sampdoria, Inter Milan, and Cremonese, will compete for playing time with Dani Cárdenas. The move offers Audero more opportunities than he would have received at Como following the arrival of Robert Sánchez.
