Emil Brăescu School in Măgura undergoes full modernization

The Emil Brăescu School in Măgura, Bacău County, has undergone a complete modernization following the acquisition of European funds through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). The upgrades include seismic consolidation, energy efficiency improvements, the installation of solar panels, and a high-performance air conditioning system.

In addition to structural and technological improvements, such as digital equipment and didactic materials for every classroom, the school features a unique piece of urban furniture: a marble bench shaped like a book. The bench is inscribed with verses from the poem ‘Zdreanță’ by Tudor Arghezi, intended to stimulate children's interest in reading and poetry.

Mayor Iordache Costrăș stated that the investment aims to create a modern, friendly, and safe environment for students, emphasizing that investments in education provide long-term community benefits.
