Emil Holm returns to training with Bologna after injury layoff

Swedish right‑back Emil Holm, 26, rejoined Bologna’s first‑team training in late July after a period of physical problems that kept him out of the World Cup and limited his loan spell at Juventus. The defender, contracted with Bologna until 2028, said his aim is to regain continuity on the right flank and compete for a starting place under new coach Domenico Tedesco. Holm’s return follows more than six months away from group sessions and comes as the club looks to strengthen its defensive options for the upcoming Serie A campaign.
