Emilia-Romagna allocates 300,000 euros to renovate Fanano Ice Rink

The Emilia-Romagna Region has allocated 300,000 euros to renovate the Fanano Ice Rink in the Modena area. This facility serves as a key hub for winter sports within the Monte Cimone district.

The funding is designated for modernization and energy efficiency upgrades to improve the facility's functionality, sustainability, and usability for athletes, sports associations, and the local community. This initiative is part of a broader regional investment program aimed at upgrading mountain sports facilities to enhance tourism and support Apennine communities year-round.

Regional councilors Roberta Frisoni and Davide Baruffi stated that the investment aims to make mountain territories more attractive and livable. They emphasized that the renovation will transform the rink into a more energy-efficient structure capable of supporting sports activities across all seasons.
