Emilia-Romagna funds business certifications for 350 companies

The Emilia-Romagna region has approved funding for 350 companies to obtain voluntary process, service, and management certifications through the FESR 2021-2027 regional program. To meet high demand, the regional government increased available resources from 3 million to 4.5 million euros, triggering total investments of nearly 8.5 million euros.

In Modena, 80 companies will activate investments totaling nearly 2 million euros. Requested certifications include ISO 9001 for quality, ISO 14001 for environmental standards, ISO 45001 for occupational safety, and ISO 27001 for cybersecurity. In the Parma area, 20 companies will receive approximately 290,000 euros in regional contributions.

Separately, economic data from Ires Emilia-Romagna regarding 2024 tax returns shows that while the region maintains high average incomes, growth is slowing in certain areas. In Reggio Emilia, the average taxable income per capita reached 27,273 euros, representing the weakest growth in the region at 15.5% since 2019.
