Emilia-Romagna launches September wine and food experience
The Emilia-Romagna region is launching the ‘A Tavola con le Strade di Emilia – Emilia Wine Experience’ project this September. This initiative aims to promote the gastronomic itineraries and local productions of the provinces of Piacenza, Parma, and Reggio Emilia through various festivals and local events.
Key highlights include the Sagra dello Scalogno Piacentino in Castelvetro Piacentino from September 4 to 7, which celebrates the local shallot, and the Festival del Prosciutto di Parma. In Piacenza, the 17th edition of the Valtidone Wine Fest will take place across four Sundays in September, featuring tastings and markets in locations such as Borgonovo Val Tidone, Ziano Piacentino, Trevozzo, and Pianello Val Tidone.
Other regional activities include the ‘Sunset Walk’ in Torrechiara, offering guided walks through vineyards and contemporary art installations near the Castello di Torrechiara.
