Emilia-Romagna local authorities and psychologists sign wellbeing protocol

ANCI Emilia-Romagna and the Order of Psychologists of Emilia-Romagna have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a stable collaboration between local government systems and the psychological profession. The agreement aims to strengthen prevention and proximity services across several key areas, including schools and education, community psychology, emergency management, organizational wellbeing, socio-sanitary integration, and the protection of vulnerable individuals.

The protocol also addresses the relationship between psychological health and the environment, specifically focusing on the psychosocial impacts of climate change and the quality of living spaces. To support these initiatives, the agreement includes training programs for psychologists working in schools, municipalities, and social services, as well as for local administrators and public service representatives. The goal is to foster shared tools and integrated practices to better intercept social needs and prevent psychological distress from escalating.
