Emiliano García-Page boycotts PSOE Federal Committee

Page characterized the meeting as a mere formality “without the possibility of intervention,” noting the lack of space for debate or speaking turns for leaders.

The committee's primary purpose is to ratify electoral lists for the general elections scheduled for November 29. While Page opted not to attend, candidates included in the lists for Castilla-La Mancha are expected to participate. These include Ministers Isabel Rodríguez, who will head the list in Ciudad Real, and Milagros Tolón, who will lead in Toledo.

The event is structured more as a rally to showcase political strength for Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez rather than a traditional deliberative meeting. The format limits participation to specific speakers, including the Mayor of Fuenlabrada, Óscar López, and Sánchez himself.
