Emiliano Martínez says Chelsea move aided mental recovery

Argentine goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez has stated that his transfer from Aston Villa to Chelsea was a deliberate move to help him recover mentally following Argentina’s defeat in the World Cup final. Martínez, who signed a contract with Chelsea until 2029, explained that the change of environment allowed him to refresh himself and feel reinvigorated for his international duties.
