Emilia‑Romagna launches upgraded electronic health record portal

From 7 July 2026 the Regione Emilia‑Romagna made a new web version of its Fascicolo Sanitario Elettronico (FSE) available to citizens. The redesigned portal lets users book examinations, download test results and manage health information through a new “Personal Notebook” where they can record measurements, medicines and notes. The older portal will remain online during a transition period, and a new mobile app is planned for release in the autumn.

The upgrade, funded partly by PNRR resources, integrates records from out‑of‑region services and private healthcare providers and is secured by digital identities such as SPID, the electronic ID card and the national service card. Local support desks have been opened in Ferrara, Cento and Portomaggiore to help users access the system.
