Emilie Ikeda announces pregnancy on TODAY show

Ikeda and her husband, Pat, are expecting the baby in January 2027. The couple has decided to forgo a gender reveal, opting to wait until the birth to learn the baby's sex to preserve the element of surprise.
Ikeda noted that her first trimester was physically challenging due to significant nausea, which was difficult to manage while covering breaking news. She is currently in her second trimester and has begun feeling the baby move.
