Emily Henry announces new book ‘Modern Classic’ for 2027

Author Emily Henry has revealed the title and release date for her seventh book, titled ‘Modern Classic’. The novel is scheduled to be published on April 6, 2027.

Henry has indicated that the story is a return to her signature romantic comedy style following her previous work, ‘Great Big Beautiful Life’. The new book is described as being influenced by the film ‘The Holiday’, serving as a small homage to the movie. While specific plot details and a cover image have not yet been released by publishers such as Penguin Random House or Berkley, the book is expected to center on a character who takes a break from their routine.

Teasers for the upcoming release appeared on theater marquees at the Coolidge Corner Theater in Brookline, Massachusetts, and the Arlington Theater in Santa Barbara, California.
