Emily Ratajkowski attends 2026 VMAs with Romain Gavras

Model Emily Ratajkowski attended the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards as the guest of French director Romain Gavras. Ratajkowski wore a black and red George Troch knit dress featuring dramatic cut-outs from the shoulder to the hip.

Beyond her attire, Ratajkowski included subtle tributes to Gavras in her appearance. Her manicure, styled by Mei Kawajiri, featured the initials ‘RG’ and a volcano symbol from Gavras’ film ‘Sacrifice’. Gavras, who was nominated for his work on the music video ‘Storm II’ by Yung Lean and Gener8ion, wore a cap featuring the same film symbol.

Ratajkowski shared her experience on Instagram, noting she attended as a ‘groupie’ for the artists. Following the ceremony, the couple was seen at Madonna’s after-party at Chateau Marmont.
