Emily Simpson discusses son's medical diagnoses

Emily Simpson, star of ‘Real Housewives of Orange County’, has expressed uncertainty regarding the medical treatment of her 11-year-old son, Luke. Luke has been diagnosed with avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID) and PANDAS, a group of autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorders linked to strep throat.

Simpson stated she is struggling to decide whether to continue various therapies, such as IVIG treatment, or to allow Luke to simply be himself without intensive medical intervention. She noted that despite trying different approaches, the family continues to face many of the same issues and she remains unsure if the treatments are effective.
