Emily Turino’s pumpkin patch promotes digital wellbeing
The tenth edition of the “pumpkin patch” garden, created by Emily Turino in Pignataro Maggiore, Caserta, featured a social initiative to promote digital wellbeing and combat cyberbullying. Located on Via Giancarlo Siani, the event hosted Paolo Siani, a representative of the Giancarlo Siani Foundation, to advocate for conscious device usage.
During the event, Siani presented resources such as “Piccolo manuale per proteggere e guidare la generazione digitale” and “Benessere digitale” to help users manage electronic device use. Siani emphasized the importance of storytelling through family voices rather than digital devices, particularly for young children.
The garden serves as an open-air educational experience, hosting workshops for over 30,000 young participants annually to teach values such as sharing, diversity, and creativity.
