Emily Wickersham returns to NCIS: Origins

In the upcoming episode of CBS’s NCIS: Origins, titled “Shimmy Shimmy Ya,” Emily Wickersham returns to the series as Eleanor “Ellie” Bishop. The character joins Mark Harmon’s Leroy Jethro Gibbs in the present-day storyline after being called in by Tony DiNozzo.

The episode features a dual timeline. In 1993, the team investigates a case involving a general’s rebellious teenage son who has become the target of a dangerous former gang member. In the present day, Gibbs returns to a location of personal significance where he discovers he is not alone.

Reports indicate that Wickersham’s appearance will extend beyond a single episode, with the following episode, “Baila Esta Cumbia,” set to feature Gibbs and Bishop teaming up for an interrogation.
