Eminem and EZ Mil release anime-inspired track ‘MADARA’

Eminem and Filipino-American rapper EZ Mil have released a new collaboration titled ‘MADARA’. The track, released via Shady Records, features a musical theme inspired by Japanese anime mythology.

The production utilizes somber piano, heavy bass, and restless percussion to mirror the personality of the anime character Madara Uchiha. The song includes contributions from Tokyo-based rapper Hideyoshi and voice actor Neil Kaplan, who is known for portraying Madara Uchiha in the English dub of the series Naruto.

Eminem’s performance utilizes a vocal delivery reminiscent of his earlier Slim Shady persona, addressing themes such as censorship, racial privilege, and past rap disputes. EZ Mil incorporates multilingual elements, switching between English and Japanese. This marks a continued professional relationship between the two artists, who began collaborating prior to EZ Mil signing with Shady Records, Aftermath Entertainment, and Interscope Records in July 2023.
