Eminence Minerals acquires gold exploration portfolio in Côte d’Ivoire

Eminence Minerals Limited (ASX: EMA) has secured exclusive option agreements to acquire up to 85% interest in a gold exploration portfolio in Côte d’Ivoire. The portfolio covers approximately 1,508 square kilometres across five project areas: Tarato, Kounouman, Banandje, Sarhala, and Tonkpi.

The projects are situated within established Birimian gold districts near existing operations held by major and mid-tier gold companies. Approximately 871 square kilometres of the portfolio consists of granted exploration tenure. Initial geological site visits have already identified evidence of artisanal workings in the Tarato and Kounouman areas, which the company has designated as priority zones for investigation.

The acquisition is structured in stages, allowing Eminence to increase its ownership to 85% while linking vendor consideration to exploration success. Following the acquisition, the company plans to conduct systematic exploration, including historical data compilation, field reconnaissance, and geochemical sampling.
